O God,
We humbly entrust your beloved children into your care.
In this life, you embraced them with tender love; now deliver them from all harm and grant them eternal rest.
The old order has passed away, welcome them into paradise,
where there is no sorrow, no weeping, and no pain,
but the fullness of peace and joy with Christ and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
